September 10, 2020 — The 2020 Oregon wildfires were some of the worst in state history. Destroying over 4,000 homes and burning over a million acres, the fires left resources strained statewide. The sustained burn carried an ominous golden haze over the coastal town of Cannon Beach, OR — hundreds of miles from the wildfires in the inland region.
